Upon its establishment in 1993, the AEEF immediately instituted an educational grant award program to benefit the students of East Aurora School District 131. 

The purpose of the AEEF Grant Program is to allow innovative ideas to be tested and the education of our youth to be enriched through these ideas.  Past activities have been very successful and have made the educational experience of our students even more rewarding. 

Annually, the Board reviews and selects grant projects of a relatively broad scope that have the potential for substantial impact.  These projects are implemented during the current and/or following school year.

Since the Foundation's inception, over $180,000 in grants have been awarded to teachers and schools.
