Nominees must have been a graduate of East high for more than 20 years.
The Distinguished Alumni Award Honorees are honored during a special ceremony held in May at East Aurora High School. The audience is comprised of the current junior and senior classes along with other alumni and community leaders.
The honorees are presented with plaques that are permanently displayed in the East Aurora High School Hawks Auditorium foyer. The Distinguished Alumni Awards were initially presented in the 1960’s and were revived under the East Aurora Alumni Association in 2005. The committee will choose up to five honorees per year. |
