Our goal is to provide all students with a positive and successful academic year.  We believe that we help our students reach their maximum potential if home and school work together as partners in each student’s education. 

Throughout the year, it is important that you, as a parent, help us reinforce the habits that will help make your student successful here at East High, and later in life: 

• Attend school every day,
• Be on time for each class,
• Dress appropriately, and
• Complete all assignments on time

Following these three simple rules can often make often the difference between success and failure.

As the year progresses, I encourage you to contact your son or daughter’s teachers often to be aware of their progress in each class.   

In addition to our fall open house and fall and parent/teacher conferences in the fall and spring, we have many programs planned for parents throughout the year.  Please watch for topics and dates in the parent newsletter.  Parents are also encouraged to join our School Improvement Team, which examines student achievement data and sets goals for the upcoming school year.  Interested persons should contact Jesse Barraza, Freshman House Principal at (630) 299-7960.

For the purposes of student safety, please remember that all visitors to the building must enter at the main entrance through Door 1 and show a drivers’ license or I.D. before being allowed to enter the building.
