(Aurora) – The award-winning East Aurora NJROTC will be a featured entry in the Fiestas Patrias Parade this weekend.
The parade will step off at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 16 at the intersection of River Street and Benton in downtown Aurora.
“We are happy to have the students from East Aurora’s NJROTC participate with us on such a special occasion,” said Jerry Campagna, Interim Executive Director of the Aurora Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
The Aurora Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is the sponsor of the 3rd annual Fiestas Patrias Aurora! Fiestas Patrias brings the sound, culture and taste of Mexico to downtown Aurora on September 14-16, 2012. The three-day music festival will showcase a variety of international music acts, food vendors, and children’s amusement park with the parade on Sunday, September 16 at 10:30 a.m.
Fiestas Patrias Aurora Music Festival will be held in downtown Aurora on the banks of the Fox River. North River Street Park is located at New York and North River Streets, just west of the Hollywood Casino on the beautiful Fox River.
