 Welcome to Driver Education,
You have been given a lot of information in the first week of Dr. Ed. Please understand the importance of RESPONSIBILITY this semester. The following is a recap of what we went over the first week:
ATTENDANCE - Any student that accumulates 10 days absent during the first nine weeks of the semester WILL FAIL both parts of driver education (classroom and behind the wheel). The STATE has mandated your attendance - excused or unexcused absences apply. If you fail your money will NOT be refunded.
NO food or drink is allowed in the classroom.
Homework/Classwork - YOU MUST PASS CLASSROOM TO GRADUATE FROM EAST. Please be prepared - bring folder, paper, and pen or pencil to class everyday. Your grade is determined by points received for successful completion of classwork and activites, as well as all exams.
Learner's Permit/Driving - Bring Permit EVERYDAY! If you do not bring your permit you will not be able to drive. At home practice is MANDATORY. The state requires you to drive 50 hours outside of driver education. You may drive with your instructor, parents (with license), and responsible adult 21 or older with a valid license.
Any Questions just Ask,
Mrs. Gannaway |
