A decision to close schools for any particular day is generally made by 6:00 a.m. that morning. You can find information about school closings for inclement weather or other emergency related causes via the following ways:

Get updates from you favorite radio or TV station.

Telephone
East Aurora School District 131 will also activate the automated emergency system that will call all the homes of all students and staff members. Generally, the School Service Center is open on days that schools are closed due to inclement weather and an operator may be live to answer questions at 630.299.5550.

A status message will be posted in the Message Center box on the district’s website in the upper right hand corner: www.d131.org
