in our new Magnet school
program. The
Magnet School is designed to focus
on math, science and technology and
will begin with 150 students; fifty
students in each of the three grade
levels.
WHO: Any

Aurora
School
and
who
meets
the
application
criteria.
WHAT: An
opportunity
to
attend
a
magnet
school
that
will
focus
on
innovative
teaching
and
learning
of
math,
science
and
technology.
WHERE: The
Magnet
School
will
be
implementing
the
school
within
a
school
concept. Classes
will
be
held
at
existing
schools. PARENTS
ARE
RESPONSIBLE
FOR
ALL
TRANSPORTATION

FROM

their

scope

a traditional

HOW
DO
I
APPLY: Pick
up
an
application
from
your
building
principal
or
the
parental
liaison
in
your
building.
Complete
the
application
form
and
return
it
to
your
school’s
parent
liaison,
principal
or
to
district’s
central
office
by
February
14th,
2008. Be
sure
to
complete
the
essay
questions. Parent
may
answer
the
question
in
their
home
language. Give
your
teacher
and
school
administrator
or
guidance
counselor
the
recommendation
forms
(be
sure
you
have
filled
in
the
top
section).
