Six-week Nurturing Parent program will begin February 1

Families in the Aurora community are invited to attend a Nurturing Parent Program beginning Wednesday, February 1, and continuing weekly for six weeks.

The program will meet at Oak Park Elementary School, 1200 Front Street, Aurora, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Dinner and childcare will be provided free of charge.

The Nurturing Parent Program is designed to provide parents with the tools and support for a nurturing family. Weekly topics include: Getting Started, Discipline, Nurturing Parenting/Empathy, Communication/Anger & Stress, Rewards & Punishment, and Celebration.

The program is presented by Breaking Free and funded by East Aurora District 131 and 21st Century Community Learning Centers.
