The East Aurora School District 131 Board of Education approved the hiring of a new administrator at its regular meeting on April 3.
Mr. Kenneth Waltz will serve as the director of buildings and grounds and will start April 19.
“We are very much looking forward to Mr. Waltz joining our administration team,” said interim superintendent Mark McDonald. “We believe he has the experience and ability to succeed in this important role.”
Waltz, who is currently director of facilities and construction for Medxcel, has 22 years of related experience, including the direction of facilities and construction projects, bidding out work, managing vendors and directing department staff.
Prior to his current role, Waltz was corporate director of facilities at Medxcel for 13 years.
Waltz holds an Associate’s degree in HVAC from Morton Junior College.
