WHAT:
$32 MILLION REFERENDUM

An issuance of $32 million of working cash bonds to cover operational costs and balance the budget by 2010.

WHEN:
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2008

Presidential Election Day!

WHERE:
Most Polling Places are located in the neighborhood in which you live. For your polling place and/or to register to vote, please contact the Kane County Clerk’s Office at 630.232.5950 or Aurora Elections at 630.897.4030

WHY:
East Aurora Schools wants to continue to empower our children in their lifelong process of Making Choices for Excellence. A referendum is needed so that District 131 can continue its success by:

THE 2008 COMMUNITY REFERENDUM WILL PROVIDE THE NEEDED FUNDS TO DO THIS… AND MORE!

COST:
The referendum will increase the tax rate 0.35 cents per $100 of equalized assessed value, which means the annual tax bill on a home valued at $100,000 will have an increase of:

  • $116.67 per year ... which is...

  • $9.72 per month... which is...

  • Only $0.32 cents per day!!!
