Professional Development

The Professional Learning Department supports our important work with students by developing excellent teaching and learning in every classroom.

We create and provide opportunities for District 131 faculty and staff to practice life-long learning. With a focus on enhancing content knowledge and instructional practices, professional learning offered in our district meets the Learning Forward national standards and ISBE criteria for personal development hours toward licensure renewal.

Our district uses the My Learning Plan online management system for activity registration and evaluations.
