Principal’s Message
Thanks to all of our families who have made a consistent effort to ensure their children have attended school regularly. Since we have returned from winter break, our attendance rate has improved by 2% to a daily average of 97%. Regular attendance helps improve students’ academic success and we feel our school is a better place when all students are present. Our staff greatly appreciates your efforts to get students to school on time and ready to learn.
Student Cell Phones
Our staff recognizes that cell phones are an important tool to help students stay connected. To ensure that we can manage student behavior and have the devices used correctly, we expect that students do not use their phones during the school day without permission from a staff member. If students need to use their phone to contact their family, they are allowed to come to the main office to place the call with their device. (Also, students can use the main office phone to contact family). If you need to contact your student during the day, please call our main office at 630-299-7175, and we will arrange for your child to contact you.
5 Essentials
The 5 Essentials Survey is conducted each year in all Illinois schools. Results from student, teacher, and parent responses are used to determine our school improvement plans.
