Eighth Grade Mouse Trap Car Championship 2026

Waldo eighth graders have had a hectic week before ACCESS.  We finished up our forces and motion unit by making mouse trap cars.  The students put in a lot of time and effort into their cars and got them ready for a final distance competition between the top teams in eighth grade. It was great fun for the students to show off their awesome cars!  They did an excellent job of taking what they learned and getting creative with it.  Both the students and teachers are very proud of the work that they have done.  We have some future engineers out there!

2^nd Place – The City Bois (Ian Camacho, Daniel Morales-Flores, Giovany Gonzalez)

3^rd Place – The Adrains (Freddy Beto Tecaxco, Nathan Leon, Alex Silva)
