Coffee with the Principal
Just a reminder that we will have this month’s Coffee with the Principal on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. in the LRC. If you have any questions, please contact our Parent Liaison, Leslie Hernandez at: (630) 299-7177.

STEM Ignition
The STEM Ignition club started this week but there is still space to join if your student would like to join. This club meets once a week on Thursdays from 2:30 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Registration is needed, see the link to register here.

Message from Health Office
Please make sure to keep sports physicals up to date in the Health office as we still have winter sports going on and girl’s basketball starting in January, as well as spring sports starting in March. Sports physicals are good for one year. If you have any questions, please contact Nurse Wonzey at: (630) 299-7187 or wcarlson@d131.org

Student Council Dance
Our Student Council has announced that they will be having a winter dance for all 6-8th grader students to join them for A Night in Paris! The dance will be on Tuesday, December 16 from 2:30 p.m-4:30 p.m. in the school gym. There will be music, snacks and a photo booth to capture your “Paris moments.” Dress your best (school appropriately). Parents interested in helping this dance be possible by donating chips, juice and soda, can contact Ms. Baker at: sbaker@d131.org

African American Parent Association (AAPA)
The AAPA will be meeting on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from 5:30 p.m-6:30 p.m. at Cowherd Middle School. If you have any questions, please contact Jewel Meeks at: jmeeks1@d131.org or Parent and Family Services Coordinator, Melissa Diaz at: mdiaz@d131.org

Bilingual Parent Advisory Council (BPAC)
BPAC will be meeting on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 8:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m. at the Belle Salle Banquets, 1920 E. New York Street. Aurora, IL 60502. Please mark the name of our school when you enter and sign in at the entrance.

EAHS Food Pantry
The Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry is open each Saturday at East Aurora High School, door #33-Smith to Ziegler Ave (next to Aurora National Guard Recruiter). from 9:00 a.m-11:00 a.m. They ask that you please bring your own bags and/or boxes.

We also have the option of picking up a box of non-perishables at our school if needed. If you need assistance with getting a box of food, please contact our Parent Liaison, Leslie Hernandez at: (630) 299-7177 or lhernandez@d131.org

Mensaje de la Enfermería
Por favor, asegúrese de mantener al día sus exámenes médicos deportivos en la enfermería, ya que todavía tenemos deportes de invierno en curso y el baloncesto femenino comienza en Enero, además de los deportes de primavera a partir de Marzo. Baile del Consejo Estudiantil

El baile tendrá lugar el Martes, 16 de Diciembre de 2:30 p.m. a 4:30 p.m. en el gimnasio. Habrá música, refrigerios y un fotomatón para inmortalizar tus momentos Parisinos. ¡Vístete con tus mejores galas (apropiadas para el colegio)! Asociación de Padres Afroamericanos (AAPA)

BPAC se reunirá el Jueves, 20 de Noviembre de 2025 de 8:30 a.m. a 10:00 a.m. en Belle Salle Banquets, 1920 E. New York Street, Aurora, IL 60502. Favor de marcar el nombre de nuestra escuela cuando entre al anotarse en la entrada.

Despensa de Alimentos en EAHS
La despensa de alimentos Marie Wilkinson está abierta todos los Sábados en la escuela preparatoria East Aurora, puerta n.°33, entre Smith y Ziegler Ave (junto al reclutador de la Guardia Nacional de Aurora), de 9:00 a.m. a 11:00 a.m. Se solicita que traiga sus propias bolsas o cajas.

También puede recoger una caja de alimentos no perecederos en nuestra escuela si lo necesita. Si necesita ayuda para obtener una caja de alimentos, comuníquese con nuestra Enlace de Padres, Leslie Hernández, al: (630) 299-7177 o a lhernandez@d131.org.
