On Wednesday, May 23rd, Staley da Bear from the Chicago Bears came to visit 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students at Hermes!  He came to celebrate the efforts of Hermes’ Fuel Up to Play 60 club, and to promote healthy eating and exercise.  Staley showed off his dance moves and reminded students how important it is to be active for 60 minutes a day, every day.  He talked to students about healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack choices, and reminded everyone how to create a winning plate at dinnertime.  The assembly ended with a huge ‘GO BEARS!’ and a high five for every student.
