East High graduation set for May 24Graduación de la Secundaria East fijada para el 24 de mayo

East Aurora High School graduation ceremony will take place Friday, May 24, at 7 p.m., in the Northern Illinois University Convocation Center, 1525 W. Lincoln Highway, DeKalb, IL.

Family and friends of the East Aurora High School class of 2019 will be able to watch the ceremony live if they are unable to attend the ceremony in person. The live stream broadcast of the graduation ceremony will be found on the East Aurora High School website by visiting https://easthigh.d131.org on the day of the ceremony.

Only visitors with graduation tickets will be allowed into the Convocation Center. Students will receive ten tickets at Thursday’s mandatory graduation rehearsal.

Graduate transportation to ceremony

It is mandatory that all East Aurora High School graduates ride buses to Northern Illinois University together. Graduates must report to Door #8 of East Aurora High School for the bus. The bus will depart at exactly 4:30 p.m.

Students will have the option of riding back to the high school on buses or with their families. Any students who want to return on the bus needed to pre-register for the return trip.

There are still a few family bus tickets available. Every person who is going to ride the family bus needs to purchase a ticket. Those tickets are good for a round trip to and from the Convocation Center. The friends and family buses will pull away from Door #15 at 5 p.m. sharp on Friday, May 24.

Free busing will be provided for all band, chorus, and NJROTC cadets who are part of the graduation ceremony.

Graduates must attend a graduation rehearsal on Thursday, May 23 at 4 p.m. Graduates are asked to arrive for rehearsal on Thursday by 3:45 p.m.

La ceremonia de graduación de la Escuela Secundaria de East Aurora se llevará a cabo el viernes 24 de mayo, a las 7 p.m., en el Centro de Convenciones de la Universidad de Northern Illlinois, 1525 W. Lincoln Highway, DeKalb, IL.

Los familiares y amigos de la clase de 2019 de la Escuela Secundaria de East Aurora podrán ver la ceremonia en vivo si no pueden asistir a la ceremonia en persona. La transmisión en vivo de la graduación se encontrará en la página web de la Escuela Secundaria de East Aurora yendo a https://easthigh.d131.org/ en el día de la ceremonia.

Solamente se permite que entren los visitantes con boletos de graduación al Centro de Convenciones. Los estudiantes recibirán 10 boletos en el ensayo de graduación obligatorio el jueves.

Transporte de Graduandos a la ceremonia

Es obligatorio que todos los graduandos de la Escuela Secundaria de East Aurora viajen juntos en los autobuses para la Universidad de Northern Illinois. Los graduandos deben presentarse en la puerta #8 para el autobús. El bus partirá a las 4:30 p.m. exactamente.

Los estudiantes tendrán la opción de regresar a la Secundaria en los autobuses o con sus familias. Cualquier estudiante que quiera regresar en el autobús necesitaba inscribirse previamente para el viaje de regreso.

Todavía hay algunos boletos de familia para el autobús disponibles. Cada persona que vaya en el bus familiar necesita comprar un boleto. Esos boletos son válidos para un viaje de ida y vuelta al Centro de Convenciones. Los buses de amigos y familia saldrán de la puerta #15 a las 5 p.m. en punto el viernes, 24 de mayo.

Se proporcionará transporte gratuito para todos los estudiantes de la banda, coro, y cadetes NJROTC quienes formen parte de la ceremonia de graduación.

Los graduandos deben asistir al ensayo de graduación el jueves, 23 de mayo a las 4 p.m. Se les pide a los graduandos que lleguen al ensayo el jueves a las 3:45 p.m.
