1st Grade Spring Bonnet ParadeDesfile de Primavera del 1er Grado

1st graders at Hermes showcased their beautiful Spring Bonnets on Thursday, April 6th.  1st grade students create these hats with their families.  Their focus is to create a physical model that will withstand outdoor weather, and will stay on their heads.

Students and their families used a variety of materials to create their hats.  Some hats were themed for spring, and some hats were themed with students’ favorite games and activities.  

1st graders paraded around the building in the afternoon to show the entire school their hard work!  

Los estudiantes de 1er grado de Hermes mostraron sus hermosas gorras de primavera el jueves 6 de abril.  Los estudiantes de 1er grado crearon estas gorras con sus familias.  Su objetivo era crear un modelo físico que resista el clima exterior y se mantenga sobre sus cabezas. 

Los estudiantes y sus familias utilizaron diversos materiales para crear sus gorras.  Algunas gorras estaban inspiradas en la primavera y otras en los juegos y actividades favoritos de los estudiantes.   

¡Los estudiantes de 1er grado desfilaron por el edificio por la tarde para mostrar a toda la escuela su trabajo duro!
