The Aurora East Educational Foundation proudly announces that Elizabeth Morales is the 2020 recipient of the Dr. Charalambos Menelaou Scholarship.
Before she graduated from East High School this year, Elizabeth admits that she was very excited about the different opportunities that might be coming in her future. She is the first in her family to attend college, and says that she is living up to her dreams, even in the midst of the difficult situations we have been facing.
She reports that she has begun work at Western Illinois University, and has clearly focused career plans.
“I am working hard to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Law Enforcement & Justice Administration, with a minor in Spanish,” Elizabeth said. “After I graduate, I plan to work for the FBI as a special agent.”
The AEEF congratulates Elizabeth, and is very proud of her accomplishments.
