The Aurora East Educational Foundation is proud to announce that Kylie Henry has been awarded the Merry Carey Scholarship in honor of Genevieve Kennedy.

     Kylie will be furthering her education at St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana.  She reports that she intends to pursue a Pre-Med course of study, with the goal of a Bachelor’s Degree in Gender and Women Studies, and a minor in Arabic.

     She has already begun to pave her career path by working as a Student Assistant in the college’s Health and Counseling Center, and by taking courses such as Literature of Social Justice and Arabic 101.

     “Not only am I a proud graduate of East Aurora High School, but I am also a grateful recipient of the Aurora East Educational Foundation Scholarship,” Kylie said.

     The AEEF is very proud of Kylie’s achievements, and is very confident that she will be successful in her academic and career pursuits.
