Since 1993, the Aurora East Educational Foundation has offered an educational grant award program to benefit the students of East Aurora School District 131.

Since the Foundation’s inception, over $360,000 in grants have been awarded to teachers and schools. Each year, the Foundation Board reviews and selects grant projects of a relatively broad scope that have the potential for substantial impact. These projects are implemented during the current and/or following school year. The purpose of the “mini grant” program is to allow innovative ideas to be tested and the education of our youth to be enriched through these ideas. Past activities have been very successful and have made the educational experience of our students even more rewarding.

Mini Grants 2025-2026

Application for the AEEF Grant Program 

The AEEF will be offering a grant opportunity for the 2025-2026 school year and applicants can apply for grants up to $1,500 per grant. Grant proposals must be submitted pursuant to the AEEF guidelines and priorities. District 131 staff and administrative personnel are eligible to apply for the Mini Grants.

There will be documents to review of the AEEF Grant Program Application. The documents include  Grant Guidelines, Online AEEF Grant Application, and Checklist. 

Please make sure that your building administrator signs off on all applications prior to submitting. All proposals will be reviewed and the awardees will be notified. The deadline for the AEEF Grant Application will be announced soon.
