On Wednesday, October 3, 2018 Bardwell was visited by children’s author Melissa Savage. Savage described the process of writing her newest book The Truth About Aliens, a fictional story about a group of friends who set out to discover the aliens who crash-landed next to their Roswell, New Mexico. Students were elated as she described her love for cryptozoology and her research into Roswell and UFOs. She read a passage of her book and answered student questions as well.
