EAHS Gets into the Holiday Spirit: Prism Festival and Spirit WeekEAHS se sumerge en el espíritu navideño: Festival Prism y Semana del Espíritu

East Aurora High School’s 10th Annual Prism Festival is coming up on Thursday, December 11th at 7 PM and Saturday, December 13th at 3 PM. This holiday performance features the full range of East High’s music program, from large bands and choirs to soloists and corridos groups. We will also feature a student Art Show, highlighting exceptional visual works from across our Art Department. Together, this art and music reflect the creativity, dedication, and artistry of our students. Students can ask any music teacher for FREE tickets to the Prism Festival. In recognition of the Prism Festival, and to celebrate the impending Winter Break, EAHS’ Student Council has collaborated with the Band program to bring the community 2025’s HOLIDAY SPIRIT WEEK! The Spirit Week will culminate in the December 13th Prism performance. Faculty, as well as the student body, is encouraged to participate, particularly in the “ugly sweater” contest on Friday, at 8:30 AM in the auditorium lobby. Prizes be awarded for the ugliest sweaters of the bunch.

Monday, 12/8: Peppermint Day (Dress in Red & White)

Tuesday, 12/9: Holiday Class Color Day (’29: Green; ’28: Red; ’27: Gold; ’26: Silver)

Wednesday, 12/10: Holiday Pajamas

Thursday, 12/11: Family Holiday Card (dress up with friends like you are posing for a Holiday Card)

Friday, 12/12: Ugly Sweaters (Faculty and student contest for ugliest sweater at 8:30 AM)

Holiday Spirit Week 2025

El 10.º Festival Anual Prism de la Preparatoria East Aurora se llevará a cabo el jueves 11 de diciembre a las 7 p. m. y el sábado 13 de diciembre a las 3 p. m. Esta presentación navideña presenta todo el programa musical de la Preparatoria East Aurora, desde grandes bandas y coros hasta solistas y grupos de corridos. También contaremos con una Exposición de Arte estudiantil, que destacará obras visuales excepcionales de todo nuestro Departamento de Arte. Juntos, este arte y esta música reflejan la creatividad, la dedicación y el talento artístico de nuestros estudiantes. Los estudiantes pueden solicitar entradas GRATUITAS para el Festival Prism a cualquier profesor de música. Puede encontrar más información sobre el evento aquí.

En reconocimiento al Festival Prism y para celebrar las inminentes vacaciones de invierno, el Consejo Estudiantil de EAHS ha colaborado con el programa de Banda para traer a la comunidad la SEMANA DEL ESPÍRITU NAVIDEÑO de 2025. La Semana del Espíritu culminará con la presentación de Prism el 13 de diciembre. Se anima tanto al profesorado como al alumnado a participar, especialmente en el concurso de “suéteres feos” que se realizará el viernes a las 8:30 a. m. en el vestíbulo del auditorio. Se entregarán premios a los suéteres más feos.

Lunes, 8/12: Día de la Menta (Vístete de rojo y blanco)

Martes, 9/12: Día de los Colores Festivos de la Clase (’29: Verde; ’28: Rojo; ’27: Dorado; ’26: Plateado)

Miércoles, 10/12: Pijamas Navideños

Jueves, 11/12: Tarjeta Navideña Familiar (disfrázate con tus amigos como si posaras para una tarjeta navideña)

Viernes, 12/12: Suéteres Feos (Concurso de profesorado y alumnado para elegir el suéter más feo a las 8:30 a. m.)
