Happy Birthday Dr. SeussHappy Birthday Dr. Seuss

On Wednesday, March 2^nd, kindergarten and first grade students at Oak Park celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday.  Activities included hearing the story “Green Eggs and Ham”, creating Truffula trees, learning facts about Dr. Seuss and writing them on an organizer and tasting green eggs and ham.  Students worked together in each group to create a graph to show whether or not they liked the green eggs and ham.  Check out some pictures of all the fun activities below!

El miércoles, 2 de marzo, los estudiantes de kínder y primer grado de Oak Park celebraron el cumpleaños del Dr. Seuss.  Las actividades incluyeron escuchar el cuento “Huevos verdes con jamón”, crear árboles de trúfula, aprender datos sobre el Dr. Seuss y escribirlos en un organizador y probar huevos verdes con jamón.  Los estudiantes juntos en cada grupo, trabajaron para crear un gráfico que mostrara si les gustaban o no los huevos verdes con jamón.  A continuación, puedes ver algunas fotos de todas las actividades divertidas.
