Break is Over - Back to Work!Break is Over - Back to Work!

Hi Guys and Girls,

So, Spring Break has come to an end.  Hope you all stayed well and did some relaxing.  I met with my Junior Lit. Themes colleagues this morning on Zoom, and it seems that some changes are on the way, but for the next couple of weeks we are going to be doing what we were doing prior to break, which was one or all of the things below:

  • Edgenuity
  • Reading The Things They Carried or a book of your own choice
  • Practice assignments on No Red Ink (see an earlier post for the class codes to log in)

The guidelines are that you should be spending 20 – 30 minutes PER DAY on each academic subject.  What you do in those minutes is up to you.  It can be 10 on Edgenuity, 10 on NoRedInk and 10 reading or 30 minutes reading.  Then another 30 on math, 30 in history, etc., etc.

This week, you should only work Monday through Thursday.  Friday would have been a non-attendance day for Good Friday.

In the upcoming weeks, we will keep this schedule, from what I understand, but I will send an update when I have a definite answer.

I will be tracking completion of assignments, so make sure that you are working on some type of English related assignmet at least once per day.

As always, I miss you and am here to answer any questions.  Email me or send a message on Remind.

Monday 4/6:  Respond to the REMIND 101 question, visit Padlet.com and leave a comment, Edgenuity, No RedInk, and/or reading.

Tuesday 4/7:  Respond to the REMIND 101 question, visit Padlet.com and leave a comment, Edgenuity, No RedInk, and/or reading.

Wednesday 4/8:  Respond to the REMIND 101 question, visit Padlet.com and leave a comment, Edgenuity, No RedInk, and/or reading.

Thursday 4/9:  Respond to the REMIND 101 question, visit Padlet.com and leave a comment, Edgenuity, No RedInk, and/or reading.

Friday:  No School!  Have a Happy Easter!
