My name es Liliana “Lily” Ramirez. I have been working as a teacher at Oak Park Elementary since 2015. I was a Kindergarten teacher for 3 years and in Preschool since 2018 . I enjoy teaching the little ones. I was born and raised in Colombia (South America). I moved to the United States in 1998.
I studied in Colombia, getting an Associate Degree in Architectural Drafting and Decoration; later on, I completed my Bachelor in Business Administration with majors in Finances and International Business. I moved to the United States and studied English at Waubonsee Community College. I am completed my Master’s in Early Childhood Education and continue taking classes that help me to learn be a better teacher for our tiny humans.
I am married and have two girls and a dog. I enjoy spending time with my family, travel, and explore!
Mi nombre es Liliana “Lily” Ramirez soy maestra de Kindergarten en Oak Park desde el año 2015 y disfruto mucho enseñar a los chiquitines. Nací y crecí en Colombia (Sur América), vine a los Estados Unidos en el año 1998.
Estudie en Colombia donde obtuve una carrera técnica en Dibujo Arquitectónico y Decoración; luego estudie Finanzas y Negocios Internacionales. Vine a Estados Unidos y estudie Ingles en Waubonsee Community College; actualmente estoy trabajando en mi Postgrado en Educación Temprana.
Estoy casada y tenemos dos niñas. Yo disfruto pasar tiempo com mi familia, viajar y explorar!
